Hazel Louise Newell Hobbs Louise was born on March 5, 1924 in Neosho, Missouri. She passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011 at 10:00AM at the age of 87 at St. James Rehabilitation in Carrabelle, Florida. She was a longtime resident of Franklin County, living in Carrabelle prior to moving to Eastpoint in 2001. She was retired from the United States Postal Service and a member of Eastpoint Church of God. She was the last surviving daughter of Albert and Ruth Brewer of Monrovia,CA and preceded in death by her sisters Alberta Brenneis and Frances Helm, also by her son Tracy Newell of Alvin Texas and daughter Tina Mock, FL. Louise is survived by her children: Terry Newell (TX), Lynda Newell Backman (WA), Cindy Bailey (OR), Blair Pugh (FL) and Mary Brisbin (FL). Louise has 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
